The Colorado AR-15 Shooter's Site is now affiliated with the Civilian Marksmanship program. The site's official name with the CMP is the Colorado AR-15 Shooter's Club. The CMP website is located at:

Requirements for membership in our club.

1) Be a registered member on this site.
Its free and we don't spam you or add you to any list. This will help us keep track of numbers, and give you a way to stay updated on club shooting events.

2) Attend at least one club shoot a year.
You will receive a membership card as soon as you join, so your membership won't be delayed any, and you can order from the CMP right away. We won't take attendance, but please come shoot with us. It is what this is all about!

3) Pay the annual fee of $10.00.
There is some cost involved. I have paid the membership dues and fees out of my own pocket, and will have to do some administrative work to keep the affiliation active. As a result I'm going to ask for a small fee. The money will cover the expenses I incur running the thing, and any leftovers will go to support this website. The fee will be $10.00 a year. If this causes you any undue hardship let me know, and we may be able to work something out. Make check or MO payable to Roger Harrington. The club does not have a bank account. Any checks or money orders made out to the club will not be honored as they can't be cashed.

4) Provide me with your personal information.
I will need:

-Name
(real name, and screen name here so I know who's who)
(The real name is required by the CMP)

-Mailing Address
(City, State, Zip Code)
(This is required by the CMP)

-Email address
So I can send you any updates on your membership or specific CMP activities.

-Phone number (optional)
But it is appreciated in case I need to verify your information for the CMP. They can verify membership with the club prior to shipping a rifle or ammo order.

-Payment for $10.00
I will take a check, a money order, or Pay Pal. Yes I know they are anti-gun but some prefer to use them, and you can use a credit card that way. The club does not have a bank account yet, so you'll have to pay me directly. (Make the check or MO out to me)

If you choose to join, please email me directly as soon as possible so I can get your membership recorded and mail you a membership card. You will need the card as proof of membership to buy a gun or ammo from the CMP. Email me directly at coar15@gmail.com Don't just mail it off without telling me. I may not get to the PO box everyday, and it may only be once a week. So please tell me its coming.
